For those of you that are like:  "What the heck is this all about?"

I am not sign up here for some sort of meditation woo-woo spiritual thing here. Don't worry this article based on American Lawyer Mel Robbins video from be inspired YouTube channel. There is always lots of science and research involved in their videos. So, I adapt the video for my blog.

          Visualization is an extraordinarily powerful skill!

          You may hear of the word "law of attraction".

          You may hear of the word "visualization".

          You may hear of the word "MANIFESTING".

Mel Robbins calls it "SEING SIGNS".

Your brain has a system in it. Here is the technical, it’s called "RETICLUAR ACTIVATING SYSTEM". It is a network of neurons and its act as a Filter system. It's basically a system that allows certain information to our brain and its blocks out other information.

Guess who programmed that filter?

YOU DID! 

And so, did the people from your past! So, if you constantly feel like you're unlovable, your reticular activating system going through the day and will point out every single that confirms that negative believe that you have. If you think that people like you at work, the filter it is literally going to be looking for evidence to confirm that belief all day long.

This is one of the reasons why we have such problem with politics in this country.

This is something called "CONFIRMATION BIAS". Mind loves to read things that we agree with because reading things we agree with confirms our filter. Why do we have the reticular activating system? there is really important reason why we have this.

          The reason WHY is if our brain let in everything,

           Have you ever looked at a Facebook page?

           Have your ever noticed how many words on a standard Facebook page?

Add over here and there and all other stuff over there!

If our brain took in everything at equal value, head would literally explode on our shoulder and brain melt down. So, the reticular activating system protects our brain and only letting in stuff that agrees with.

SO...

That is the scientific reason and mandate for why we got to get busy reprogramming that think. Now we are going to see about how we use visualization. In order to start to reprogram the reticular activating system in brain, so that brain starts to spot opportunity, evidence that things are working out so we can build momentum and it begin with visualization.

So, as you take your goals, right? So, you've written down all these goals for 2021, Right?

So, we should go to each one and do a visualization exercise.

Here's how we're going to do it based on science, because there is particular way to do it based on science.

It is a 2-step method:

If the goal is to improve your self-worth, we should visualize what the future life looks like and how we going to feel about ourselves.

There are two things more important when it comes to visualization:

It may seem stupid but read closely...

1. Close your eyes and in your mind have a specific picture of what its look like in your life when your self-worth improved.

          You are going to see yourself speaking up at work.

          You are going to see yourself talking more about business.

          You are going to see yourself leaving bad relationships.

          You are going to see yourself defining boundaries.

          You are going to see yourself going to the GYM.

          You are going to see yourself taking care of yourself.

2. When you start to visualize the image of that, consciously think of the positive emotions that you are going to feel.

          "I'm going to feel happy!

          "I'm going to feel proud!

          "I'm going to stand taller!

          I'm going to be so grateful that I made this change.

Mirroring the specific picture of yours and Imagine like,

          There I am at work and rising my hand and it's amazing!

          There I am getting promotion.

          There I am asking for a rise.

          There I am signed up another customer to my business!

          There I am going back to school and I feel so good about myself.

When we do that here what is happening in our brain!

This is cool scientific part.

We train our brain to have a different filter system. Our brain doesn't know the difference that something actually happened to us.

Like the thinks we imagine that happen to us!

LET ME SAY THAT AGAIN!

Our brain doesn't know the difference between the bad things that happen to us the real memory we have and the imagined memory that we're creating. 

Our brain will visualize things like going to the gym and how happy you feel when you do:

You are visualizing asking for that rise and getting it and how proud you're going to feel.

Our brain, when we visualize in the way you seen above it encodes it as a real memory and that's important.

When us encode it as a real memory it changes the filter system.

Here is what the research says:

1. You've the greater confidence.

2. You've the greater security about yourself.

Here is the think, when you wake up and imagine that the day will be amazing it take few minutes but it will change your day. Studies proven that simply visualizing yourself doing things actually develops the skills and helps you improve the skills. 

And finally, the other thing that's really important about this that more you do this Based on research is that the reason why you start to believe what you think because you are reprogramming your brain. You are changing the network of neurons that act as a filter. 

So, the more that we actually believe in ourselves and we start to think, imagine, visualize ourselves doing it actually we going to achieve it and going to be great and improve our skills. Then, instead of complaining about our life we going to change our lives because we changed the filter.

This is how its worked

This is why this so incredibly important!

So, Day 1

          Go through your all the goals you set.

         Spend 30 seconds every day and visualize what it would be like your life after when you have         achieved every goal you set in a year (your dreams deserved 30 seconds right?)

Imagine your monetary goal like; 

          How does it feel to go to the bank and see the balance you want?

          How does it feel able to write that check and take your kids to amusement park on money that you made?  

          How does it feel built your own dream house?

          How does it feel that you save enough money so you can quit the job that you hate and launch the business because you have achieved your goals?

IT FEEL DARN GOOD!

Because what you are doing when you visualize you are reprogramming reticular activating system, the system of neurons that network act like a filter in your brain. So that it is spotting opportunities so that it is helping you see evidence that you are confident, capable of what you can do instead of thinking about garbage we don’t want.
